AST is searching for a Full-Time BCBA, Behavior Analyst, in South Orange County, California.

Our behavior analysts are responsible for managing a team of behavior technicians and are given the tools to do so with ease and efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments
  • Administer a wide ranges of standardized assessments
  • Develop program recommendations for new referrals
  • Work with a variety of funders in the region

  • Provides weekly or bi-weekly field supervision to clinical caseload
  • Monitors client data, evaluates client and caregiver progress and makes data-driven decisions regarding the modification of treatment plan goals
  • Mentors a team of behavior technicians through the development and monitoring of professional development plans, competency checklists and performance reviews 
  • Manages contract utilization for clinical caseload
  • Conducts Functional Behavior assessments and administers standardized assessments for clinical caseload
  • Conducts monthly team meetings with families to review client progress and create person centered treatment plans with clients and their caregivers 
  • Collaborates with service providers, including but not limited to: school districts, SLPs, OTs, PTs, primary care physicians, etc. via interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Conducts quarterly clinical trainings for Behavior Technicians, Advanced Technicians or Lead Technicians

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication and writing skills; bilingual skills highly valued

  • Able to travel from Santa Ana to San Clemente
