AST is searching for a Full-time BCBA, as a Managing Behavior Analyst, in West Phoenix, AZ!

 

Autism Spectrum Therapies (autismtherapies.com), one of the largest and most respected ABA agencies in the country, is looking for a BCBA to join our team as a Managing Behavior Analyst. As a Managing Behavior Analyst, you will manage a team of 2 to 4 Master’s-level Supervisors and oversee a team of 15 to 25 Behavior Technicians. Responsibilities

  • As a Managing Behavior Analyst you will:

    • Mentor and coach future behavior analysts (2-4 Managing Techs)
    • Provide clinical direction to program managers and technicians for assigned clients
    • Deliver protocol modification, assessment and family treatment guidance for assigned clients
    • Ensure data is collected and recorded with fidelity and reliability
    • Complete mandatory trainings and attend required meetings
    • Document services delivered accurately and timely according to company policies
    • Partner with Clinical Director regarding staffing and scheduling for clients
    • Report clinical and scheduling concerns promptly
    • Adhere to all company compliance policies, written or unwritten

Qualifications

 

    • Master’s Degree
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst working with children with autism
    • license as required by local statutes to deliver ABA
    • Supervision fluency, including performance monitoring of clinical team and consistent utilization of a system to monitor client progress during field supervision
    • Fluency/independence in navigating challenging situation with families, funding sources or staff
    • Preferred experience with multiple funding sources and report templates:
      • Regional Center
      • Insurance
      • School Districts
    • Timely submission of reports
    • Currently on independent submission of reports or average quality review score of 90% or above
    • Experience with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
    • Understanding of pre-requisite skills across domains, goal progression and how to address programming related issues
    • Fluency in reviewing client's authorized hours and supporting the maximization of hours for a caseload.
    • Independence in creating fade out plans that are derived from caregiver input, client and caregiver progress on goals and assessment results
